Privacy Policy

This policy explains how Inspo handles the photos and information used by the app.

Data stored on your device

• Your full-body photo and clothing photos
• Saved AI-generated Looks and their source-piece details
• Temporary generated try-ons, which expire after seven days
• Closet names and other local preferences

AI try-on processing

When you request a try-on, Inspo sends a reduced-size copy of your full-body photo and selected clothing photos through our Google Cloud backend to Google’s Gemini API. Google processes those images to generate the requested result.

Our backend does not write request photos or generated images to server storage, and retains them for zero time once the response completes. What it does keep is non-image: App Attest device records, one-time security challenges, quota counters, purchased credit balances, and aggregate operational usage needed to prevent abuse and control service cost.

• One-time security challenges expire in five minutes; the record that one was used is kept up to two days
• Daily rate-limit records, including ones containing your IP address, are kept up to seven days
• App Attest device records and free-allowance counts are kept indefinitely, so reinstalling the app cannot reset service limits
• Purchased credit balances, and the Apple transaction identifiers that created them, are kept indefinitely — so credits you paid for are not lost, and one receipt cannot be redeemed twice

Google handles data it processes under its applicable API terms and privacy documentation. Inspo does not use these photos for advertising or sell them.

Purchases

Credit packs are sold and processed by Apple. Inspo receives a signed Apple transaction and reads three things from it: the product bought, the transaction identifier, and a wallet identifier — a random ID created on your device and held in your keychain. Inspo does not receive your payment-card details. Your credit balance is stored against that wallet identifier on our backend.

Deletion

Data & Privacy in the app can delete your body photo, Closet, saved Looks, temporary cache, or all local content. Uninstalling the app also removes app-container content.

Purchased credits, your wallet identifier, and anti-abuse security records are held separately and are not removed by those controls or by uninstalling. That is deliberate: otherwise deleting local content would erase credits you paid for, and service limits could be reset by reinstalling.
